[ROBOTECH Episode 1]

uneven effort

if you spent as much time on the valkyries as you did on the enemies, background, other ships, etc, this would be a much better movie. oh, and a plot doesn't hurt.

[6 year old+Flash=Bad]

would have been funny

if what i saw was actually made by a 6 year old, it would have been funny. but now i guess it's just the new excuse for people who want to make bad movies

[Green Lantern : TAS]

don't trace bitmap

this was a well put together "opening" for a Green Lantern series. The art is a little stiff, but it looks good, so I'm not going to fault it. Might be something to consider though. My suggestion is don't use trace bitmap on the city skyline, it makes it look wrinkly which really detracts from the very linear tone of these types of DC cartoons (aka, Batman's square chin).

why???

why is this movie 3.7 megs long??? i've seen 10 minute long movies that are 1 meg. and there's not even a preloader! nobody should have to bother downloading this thing. newgrounds needs to enforce the 2 meg rule more strictly.

good song, and it's not completely innacurate, but some depictions in here are borderline offensive.

very good

i'm just glad i see these serious stuff in Newgrounds. I really think you raising the FPS would have helped a lot, because that animation was really jerky. Also, while I got your message, I think it wasn't developed enough. We aren't given that much opportunity to know why the girl is an angel, and we do not know how she fell due to the pills. We do not know why she was tempted at all by the pills, and how they led to her downfall, etc.

[Mall Food - Burger Trauma]

almost great

great sound, great graphics, great pacing, up until the end. i don't think it was the right time for the punchline. i think that ending should have been another joke in the middle, and the punchline something bigger. but hey, good technical stuff.

[Flash 1-2-3's, Volume 2]

good sound tip

the tips about the sounds are helpful, but the other instructions i think won't help too much. first of all, the flash help file already teaches how to do these. second of all, without a guiding hand or screenshots, i think it's just more confusing. thirdly, i think people out there should just fiddle around with flash to learn it :). I think you should continue making tips, but not really teaching.

True, there is a help file inside Flash, but after seeing the number of horrendous flash movies I see here every day, 95% of the people probably don't read them anyways.

Secondly, I decided when making these movies that I would try to make them as small as reasonably possible so users could open them up in just a few seconds rather than a minute, so the screenshots had to go. :(

People SHOULD fiddle around with Flash to learn it, true... I'm just offering a little advice to help speed them along.

honestly, i really did like it, even though the animation left something to be desired. but really the point of this review is to shove the previous review out of the main page, because it ruins the ending. how inconsiderate.

but the jokes fell a little flat and unoriginal. reminded me of the clerks/star wars flash animation parody.
