[The (new) Cat Came Back]

not bad

it's definitely different enough from the original, which is a very admirable. However, based on preferences, I still like the original better. Your animation is fresh, but what made the original so good was the character design (your characters just aren't anywhere near as memorable), and the visual gags were really funny and over the top back then. A minor thing also is that the lyrics in your version was too literal to what was happening on screen. I think it worked better if the animation wasn't so reliant on the lyrics... which i can understand is hard because the lyrics are extremely descriptive compared to the originals' more general lyrics.

it took this long, but this is among the most perfect flashes I've ever seen... perfect sound, perfect music, and the animation is superb! i'm not even an FF fan and this is now my favorite flash on NG!

[Peach & Vinyl's argument]

well,i DIDN'T vote to blam

but there's a flaw in your story... if we make the assumption that peach can go get a helicopter because he likes black hawk down, why can't vinyl fly and be super-neo because he likes the matrix? they're both equally implausible, so you can't justify one being possible over the other.

PS - i don't like either movie over the other one.

this is a perfect example of why people need to practice with animation and flash techniques BEFORE submitting anything to newgrounds, except unlike all the other perfect examples, this is an example of the positive results.

At first i thought you were simply calling me amature, which i am not, but well maybe im a little amature compared to youre award winning flash toons, but then you said this is an example of the positive results... and i just wanted you to elaborate on what you ment by this being an example of positive results?

you'd think after 7 episodes you'd have come up with SOME voice acting for these. the sound is severely lacking (and it doesn't help that the graphics are very inconsistent also... would it kill you to draw a clock not just as a circle and 2 lines?)

when you said the sprites were traced i thought you meant you manually traced them yourself, not just did the trace bitmap feature. sorry, that's like HALFWAY there, but not all the way. animation was good though, so it still gets a thumbs up :)

what you crazy. The tracing alone took me hours. I had to go in and trace every frame of the animation. For some moves, there were 300 frames and I have to go in and input the command---wait. and move on to the next frame. It was very tedious. And that was just for one move.

cute, but there's an inherent problem in such a creature: they do not reproduce! reproduction is the most important thing an invididual does for its species, without which there would be no species at all!

I don't see how this is a parody if it's not poking fun at the original Madness series. In fact, I see nothing in here that in terms of idea/originality that Krinkels couldn't have done himself, and done much better.
