fun, but
i stayed on for 197 seconds, and those 3 minutes were the most my hand's ever hurt from mashing the left mouse button. damn you.

well,
i'd consider this still a movie instead of a game. good mixture of both types, but still more of a movie. i could really have gone without all the humorous bits, which i gotta admit, are not at all humorous. sorry.
yeah i know that... but there's 2 options to select when uploading works... the first is 'Movie' and the second is 'Game/Interactive' and since this movie sticks to interactive, i chose the second option... hope u understand... thanx btw!
a novel approach
a novel approach and a noble task. i like the way you explained how flash graphics work, but the example you had isn't too practical. one, if they were to copy a female from a drawing, they can just carefully trace her and it wouldn't take that long. or they can easily use trace bitmap. i think your tutorial was actually more suitable for still drawing than anything else. with flash, especially with newbies, tweening is the most efficient form of animation, and to do this well, you'd have to draw the body in several parts (separated at the joints)
First off, I'm glad you liked it. As to your comments, however, I'm a bit perplexed. I wrote the tutorial with it in mind that the end user may not have access to a scanner. Obviously, if the image is actually IN you computer, you can just import it into FLASH and trace it. Not everyone has that luxury. Also, this is a DRAWING tutorial. There is no mention of animation, tweeining or otherwise.
awesome!
one of the best fighting games in newgrounds. if there was one thing i'd add it's a little more variety in attacks (as in controlling how we attack) and maybe jumps, i dunno. it's awesome right now!
thanks a lot
i've only made 1 real flash movie so far, and that time i didn't make a preloader (i never knew how). luckily the file size wasn't too bad. now while i am working on my current movie, i'll be sure to make a preloader. thanks for making it a little less daunting.
slick
this was one cool flash! i hesitate to call it a game, since there was no real objective, but it definitely was fun.
very cool
but yeah, it really looks like a monkey island takeoff. not saying it's ripped right off, but the similarities are unavoidable. still, the animation was really cool.
good, but
it was a little on the slow side, and the collision detection is really buggy. a novel try in flash, but you can still fix this up a lot.
cute game
i've always like any iterations of this game.
I can only try to have people view me as I would like them to view me, and animation is a step in that direction.
